  • This 20 hour course provides the easiest step towards becoming a Certified Lactation Educator. This training course fulfills the main requirement for certification. This class is the foundation of eventual pursuit of the IBCLC status. Check out www.cappa.net for detailed information.

    Upon payment and registration, a welcome letter will be mailed out to you detailing itinerary and what to bring to class.

    Tuition for pre-registration for the CAPPA Certified Lactation Educator course which includes the study manual is $375-400.00 depending the location of class. For those who want to continue with all the required steps for certification, there is:

    $75.00 Certification Processing Fee-- Paid to CAPPA

    $35.00 certification packet-- Paid to CAPPA OR Birth and Breastfeeding Solutions at training

    For your convenience, the certification packet is available to purchase during class. The membership and the certification processing is not due until you are ready to submit all completed required work.

    Are CEU's accepted for this class:

    At the moment, CAPPA and WIC are the only organizations that are offering CEU's for this training.
